ETHIOPIA—Prayer scroll in the Ge'ez language, made of leather bound into a scroll, written in red and black ink, in the Coptic liturgical language. Illustrated with a polychrome St. Michael A parchment scroll intended to protect the bearer from illness and the evil eye. The bearer was supposed to carry it with them at all times. Probably 19th century. Scroll width: 9 cm. Length: 180 cm In very good condition
