1933 Model, Fifth Republic
Slightly trapezoidal-shaped helmet made of stainless steel, polished on the outside, with chin strap fasteners. A folded brass band straddles the outer edge of the visor and the neck guard. A flat section on the front of the crest features a brass insignia stamped with a naval anchor. The crest is secured by countersunk rivets. Stamped brass front plate bearing the coat of arms of the city of Marseille with a naval anchor and a ribbon bearing the inscription “BATAILLON MARINS POMPIERS MARSEILLE.” Leather inner lining
