Pierre-François GUIGNARD (received Master in 1767) Veneer marquetry chest of drawers with central recess, opening to three drawers, resting on slightly curved legs. The uprights simulate fluting. Inlaid frieze decorated with butterfly wings on the front. Gilded bronze ornamentation on the lock escutcheons, pull handles and lantern finials. Iron stamp of F. GUIGNARD and JME hallmark under the top. Transitional Louis XV-Louis XVI period White veined red marble top 86x98x54 cm N. Note: this lot is sold with legal fees reduced to 14.86% instead of 25%.
