Diameter: 29.5cm Ricardo SORIANO (1883-1973), Marquis de Ivanrey, is a little-known character whose life is akin to an adventure novel. An aristocrat by turns inventor, aviation pioneer and racing driver, he was also the great discoverer of Marbella. Among other things, he invented the first snowmobiles, seaplanes and outboard engines for boats. A keen sportsman, he took great pleasure in breaking numerous speed records on the water, peaking at almost 60 nautical miles per hour thanks to engines of his own invention. Founder of the Canot Club de Paris in 1930, he also presided over the Canot Club de Bayonne and the Club Nautique de Ciboure.
