JAPAN, Early to mid 20th century Short Wakizashi (training, children's or decorative?) with mother-of-pearl scabbard (raden zaiku saya) Handle trimmed with stingray. Complete with menuki. Quadrifolished brass tsuba. With sageo cord on the scabbard. Dragon decoration on the menuki and kurigata. Blade length: 30.5 cm to habaki. Total length: 50 cm Good condition, very slight wear, a few chips on the blade.
